Pantomime will be back at Fairfield Halls in 2021 and it’s going to be a Beauty of a panto and a Beast of a show! 

Imagine Theatre, producers of the 2019 ground-breaking production of  Cinderella are returning with the classic fairy tale, Beauty & The Beast and another spectacular production which will delight the entire family.

The show tells the story of a Prince who is cursed by an Enchantress and turned into a Hairy Beast, will he find true love and reverse the curse? Will village girl Belle be able to see his true heart under his beastly appearance? All will be revealed. Featuring all the ingredients of a traditional pantomime including big song and dance numbers, side-splitting comedy, lots of audience participation and a huge sprinkling of pantomime magic this is a show that will delight young and old.

We are delighted to announce that Dick & Dom and Derek Griffiths will be starring in this year's pantomime.

Dick & Dom, known to audiences from their many hit TV shows including Dick and Dom in da Bungalow; Diddy TV; Are You Smarter than a 10 Year Old and many others. They are no strangers to the stage either having performed in the West End in Spamalot and many pantomimes.

Derek Griffiths who has been entertaining generations since the 1970's has been a mainstay in British television since his early Play School days. He has voiced the much-loved character SuperTed. In recent years has been seen on our screens on the cobbles of Weatherfield. He vast CV of performances on stage include playing Lumiere in the original Disney West End production of Beauty & The Beast, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and most recently he joined the London cast of The Moustrap.

Along with a stellar cast of Musical Theatre performers including Danny Whitehead as the Prince and Nic James as Benedict Bourbon with more to be announced, Beauty & The Beast promises to be the festive treat that the whole family can enjoy this Christmas.
