Croydon Performing Arts Festival
–The Croydon Performing Arts Festival, which was formed in 1913, was, in 1925, one of the Founding Festivals of the British & International Federation of Festivals and is open to all amateurs to perform in Western Music, South Asian Music, Dance, South Asian Dance and Speech and Drama. It is one of the largest performing-arts festivals in the country attracting more than1000 performers each year and holds most of its events at Royal Russell School in January each year.
On May 28th we have the finals of the Concerto Competition – held in association with the London Mozart Players – followed by our Choral performances. On May 29th the spotlight falls upon our colourful South Asian Dancers, while June 4th reflects the outstanding performances from all disciplines within the complete 2022 Festival.
