English National Opera to bring concert performance of La bohème to Fairfield Halls this summer

All tickets to be priced at £5 - part of ENO and Fairfield Halls' mission to make opera and classical music accessible to the widest possible audience.
Fairfield Halls General Manager Jonathan Higgins, and the whole team at BH Live, are delighted to announce that the English National Opera (ENO) will bring a concert version of Giacomo Puccini’s classic opera La bohéme, to the venue’s internationally renowned Concert Hall on 21 August.

One of the best-loved and most famous operas in the world, La bohème tells of Parisian poet Rodolfo’s doomed love for seamstress Mimì, sung in English as part of the ENO’s mission to make opera accessible to the widest possible audience.
Fairfield Halls has a long history of staging concerts by some of the world’s most notable classical artists and symphony orchestras, and in 2023 will welcome the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and Swedish Philharmonia (also performing as Gävle Symphony Orchestra) Further details of the 2023/24 season will be announced later this year.
Jonathan Higgins said, "Following the exciting news that dates have been confirmed for two international symphony orchestras to play at Fairfield Halls in early 2023, I'm really pleased to be making a further announcement that English National Opera will be visiting Croydon this summer with a very special concert.
ENOare internationally recognised, and it is great to be working with them, with a view to developing a long term and fruitful partnership.
