Next month, Fairfield Halls welcomes delegates to the 15th annual Develop Croydon Conference.
Taking place on Tuesday 26 November 2024, the event will bring together investors, developers, policymakers, built environment consultants, and business leaders to explore the latest developments in Croydon’s growth sectors and inspire insightful discussions from a variety of national and international experts.
The conference will explore fresh perspectives as it promises panels that will examine trends and best practices from around the globe. As well as highlighting success stories, experts will address the challenges currently faced by similar urban centres, as the industry comes together to debate and discuss the future development of Croydon.
Another major theme to be explored will be the importance of the areas that connect Croydon’s iconic buildings including public spaces, parks, and thoroughfares that shape the daily experiences of residents and visitors.
Key speakers include Mayor Jason Perry (Mayor of Croydon), Howard Dawber (London’s Deputy Mayor of Business and Growth), MP Sarah Jones, Stephanie Wear (Vice President of Aviation Development), and many more.
Fairfield Halls is operated by registered charity and social enterprise BH Live in partnership with Croydon Council.
The conference has been delivered in partnership with White Label Creative and BH Live.
Steve Turner, BH Live’s Director of Venues, shared: “We are delighted that the Develop Croydon Conference is returning to Fairfield Halls. It’s incredibly fitting that one of the Borough’s biggest and most important conferences about community development will be hosted at this historic venue, which sits at the very heart of Croydon. It is a pleasure to continue our ongoing partnership with White Label Creative to welcome hundreds of delegates to the region to talk about their vision for Croydon.”
Fairfield Halls previously held the Develop Croydon Conference in 2019. Following a major refurbishment, the venue reopened in 2021 and boasts three main event spaces and several lounges and suites for private hire functions, meetings, and celebrations. Last year, the venue welcomed more than 36,00 delegates across a variety of conferences, exhibitions, and business events.
