We caught up with panto favourite Jamie Steen ahead of his role as Dame Dilly Donut this Christmas in our panto Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs!

1. Are you excited to be coming to Croydon this Christmas?

I’m over the moon to be appearing at the Fairfield Halls this Christmas and as it’s my local theatre it makes it extra special.

2. What are you most looking forward to in this year’s panto?

I’ve never done panto in Croydon so I’m very much looking forward to bringing all Dame Dilly's fabulous over the top frocks and fashions to the audiences. You never know I might become the next Croydon trend setter.

3. What does doing panto mean to you?

I love panto and everything it brings to Christmas. This will be my 32^nd Christmas pantomime and it’s definitely a part of my holiday season. It’s such a wonderful British tradition.

4. What do you enjoy about starring in pantos?

There’s nothing better Than hearing the children and the adults laughing out loud, singing or clapping along and really having a great time. Also working with old friends and making new ones during the show. And we have so much fun entertaining the audiences.

5. What is your favourite Christmas tradition?

It has to be my Christmas day dinner followed by Christmas pudding!
