Today, Stormzy's charity, #Merky Foundation have announced their first-ever Christmas party which is to be held on 3 December at Fairfield Halls. Tickets are available to residents that reside within the Croydon Borough and are available free of charge. Tickets are limited to 4 per household and you have 48-hours to register.
It is a chance for the Croydon community to enjoy a day out and have a chance to win some very special prizes. The party, founded by an abundance of generous donors, will include a plethora of activities including games, performances, tombola, workshops and more with Stormzy also being present to join in the fun.
The event will be split into two time slots throughout the day with the first half for those 4 years of age and above, beginning at 16:30 finishing at 18:30. The second half of the event will be for those 10 years of age and above, beginning at 19:00 and finishing around 21:30. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The #Merky Books team are donating 500 copies of their first children’s book, Superheroes: Inspiring Stories of Secret Strength, which is a celebratory collection of modern day heroes curated by Stormzy. The author and performance poet Sophia Thakur will be performing during the evening event and the book’s illustrator – Denzell Dankwah – will run drop-in drawing workshops for children throughout the day.
Terms & conditions - to register you must be a Resident of the London Borough of Croydon. Your group must be to a ratio of at least one child to every adult within your registration. You must comply with the venue COVID-19 policy. Registration for tickets does not guarantee a ticket to this event as tickets are limited. You can only register for one of the events.
